Dylan & Dougal

Dylan & Dougal (with blaze) came from Tavistock Market in October 2007 having been unsold. We believe they are brothers having come from the same herd and looking so similar! We hope to home them together for this reason. They are both small foals and won’t be very big when fully grown!

They are both very sweet ponies and have had headcollars on and learnt to lead. They enjoy and Dougal in particular loves a fuss, he is happy to have his legs touched and is starting to pick them up, Dylan is also getting there. Please get in touch if you are interested in homing them.

We are the be Dartmoor Pony Training Centre we take on ponies from market that are unsold and re-home them in to permanent loan homes as well as promote the breed.  Dartmoor Hill ponies are wonderful sweet natured ponies and make excellent riding and driving ponies as well as companions and even therapy ponies which they are well suited to due to their calm nature.  We insist our ponies go to homes where they have company and ideally we want them to be able to live out.   We ask for a small donation if you take on a pony to help towards the running costs of the centre.
