Jane Holderness-Roddam returns to ride at West Wilts' 50th Fixture

Britain’s first ever female Olympic gold medal winner in Eventing returned to the sport after a 13 year break from the sport at West Wilts Horse Trials to raise funds for equine welfare charities, the Brooke and World Horse Welfare.

Jane and her veteran event horse Tiger’s Eye II (‘Bill’ to his friends) completed the competition on a great double clear with a top twenty placing.

Not only was West Wilts special because of Jane’s fundraising efforts but the event was also the 50th ever British Eventing affiliated fixture held by Pete Collins and his team at West Wilts since their popular event began in 1997.

You can Donate to Jane’s fundraising efforts and leave her a message of support here.
