After two days of dressage at the FEI European Championships in Millstreet, Ireland, Great Britain hold individual gold medal position in the Junior Rider Championship and a strong position in the team competitions.
The Racesafe Juniors enjoyed another successful day in the dressage arena with anchor for the team, Bubby Upton, putting in a stunning test to score 23.9 penalties on Rachel Upton’s Eros DHI and shoot to the top of the individual rankings.
Fellow team rider Imogen White and the 13 year old gelding Emill also put in a great test today to score 45.2 penalties to sit in 20th place going into cross country. With all four of the team completing their dressage tests the team hold silver medal position on a score of 102.7 penalties, some 28 penalties ahead of France in bronze but behind Germany, who move in to gold on 95.2 penalties.
The GB Racesafe Juniors go into the cross country with three riders inside the top ten, team rider Richard Coney will lead the Brits out looking to build on his strong start which currently sees him in eighth place individually.
