Team NAF British Pony Dressage Team update

British Dressage is sad to announce that Charlotte McDowall has been forced to withdraw her ride, LE Chiffre, from next week’s European Championships for Ponies in Kaposvar, Hungary (25 – 30 July 2017).

Prior to departing on the three-day trip to Hungary, the pony had a kidney stone which caused an infection and, in conjunction with team vet Robert Oulton, it was decided that a long journey would not be in his best interests. LE Chiffre is now making a good recovery.

Holly Kerslake (13) from Lifton, Devon and her own and Carl Trock’s Valhallas Zorro (black, stallion, 14.1hh, 8yrs, s. Valhallas Lord Matrafal), as first reserves, will take their place.

They join Megan Barratt with Valido’s Starlight, Anya Kolleth with SL Lucci and Sophie Taylor with Madam’s Miss Maria.

We wish the Team NAF quartet every success at the European Championships.
