Brightwells Equine Hosts Elite Dressage Horse Sales this weekend

The Brightwells Addington Elite Dressage Sales select high quality Dressage prospects throughout Europe for the ever popular and successful sales held at the Addington Manor Equestrian Centre in Buckinghamshire,  on Saturday 22 August 2015.

The 2015 Summer Collection is of a particular high standard, all horses have undergone X-ray examination and will be vetted at Addington on the days prior to the sale.

X-rays can be forwarded to your Veterinary Surgeon up to two days prior to the auction and horses can be tried by arrangement at their current locations before travelling to the UK for the Sale. With further Trial Rides available at Addington on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd August.

5 year old mare by Tuschinski x Don Picardi x Jazz

A beautiful 'Elite' daughter of Tuschinski who is a successful son of Krack C. He has produced numerous Ster, Prok, Keur and Elite mares incl. America, Akitacola, Adelaide, Andette, Arma as well as licenced stallions Temptation and Adjan etc. Krack C, Anky van Grunsven's esteemed dressage partner, is one of the most respected sires of dressage excellence in Europe. He has several approved stallion sons, including Redford, Tolando, Tuschinski, Trento B., United, Kaiser Franz, Valasquez and Vivaldi. The mother line brings the blood of Donnerhall through popular son Don Picardi. As a three year old, he was Hanoverian County Champion at the 2003 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden. His pedigree is unique: Donnerhall x Pik-Bube and in the third generation the legendary thoroughbred Cardinal xx. The dam also brings the blood of the outstanding stallion Jazz, whose progeny incl. Norway, Jazzman, Jazz Time, Olivi, Ohio, Olympic, O'Neill, Ode etc.

The Addington Elite August Sale is held in the beautiful parkland of the Addington Manor Estate in Buckinghamshire. With easy access from International Airports, situated 45 minutes from London Luton Airport and 1 hour from London Heathrow.

Friday 21st August

9am -  Stables open for viewing
11am -  Presentation of Dressage Horses followed by Foals
1pm  - Veterinary offi ce open to discuss X-rays & vettings
1pm  - Trial Rides of Dressage Horses by appointment
5.30pm  - Auction of Foals & Loose jumping presentation of auction horses.

Saturday 22nd August
9am - Stables open for viewing
10am - Veterinary offi ce open to discuss X-rays & vettings
11am - Trial Rides of Dressage Horses by appointment
5pm - Auction of Show Jumpers & Dressage Horses.
